Orc - Orc is the best class for Deathknight on the Horde side due to the increased pet damage, Attack Power Racial and +3 Expertise when using axes racial.

- Can you describe the ruckus?

The Ruckus is usually coming from my pants, because there is ALWAYS a party going on down there.

- Professions and why did you choose them:

Blacksmithing: To grab the extra socket's to bracers and gloves.
Jewelcrafting: To grab the JC only gems.

- Spec, Dual spec. How often do you play other specs?

Frost and Blood - Both are geared and I play both very often.

- Explain your choice of gear for main & offspecs:

With the Dragon Soul raid BiS was very easy to figure out. Other then keeping myself updated on Elitist Jerks, theres very few pieces in DS that are hard to pick out from the rest.
Offspec I've been picking up the best gear I can with Mastery/Dodge or Parry.

- What glyphs do you use for each spec and why:

Frost Strike
Obliterate
Howling Blast
These three Prime glyphs increase DPS to the fullest compared to other guilds. All of the glyphs are very cookie cutter.

- If you are applying as a DPS, what is your normal rotation?

Diseases
Obliterate if both Frost/Unholy pairs and/or both Death runes are up, or if Killing Machine is procced
Frost Strike if RP capped
Rime
Obliterate
Frost Strike
Howling Blast
Horn of Winter

Haven't PvP'd on this character. I used to play my rogue in BC and would have gotten glad had we cared enough to stop fighting a Druid, Hunter, Priest team over and over as Priest, Mage, Rogue. Other then that my rogue has all the other arena titles, battlemaster, etc.

- Prior guild(s) & your reasons for leaving:

Refined - Raided them in the beginning of Cata, but due to real life reasons had to quit and the melee spots filled up very fast!

Nidhogg - 25 Man guild however 2/3 nights we could barely get 20 people on and had completely stopped progressing.

Broken - Current 10 man guild. Not using time to progress, not even killing bosses we've killed before. Late starting because people have been showing up later then they should.

I have been tanking pretty much 24/7 due to the guild I got recruited to having one of their tanks have to leave because of a new baby but here are a couple logs from raid finder:

- How did you find us? Is there anyone you know in Simple Math?:

I raided for Tan for a long time, I know he quit but I'm pretty sure he is still in the guild.

- Why Simple Math? Is there anything else you'd like to tell us?

Tan always spoke very highly of the guild and the environment/players. I know you guys are very good players from your track record and Tan's information about you guys made me want to apply.

- What kind of computer do you use? CPU/Memory/Video Card? Typical FPS during a 25-man raid?

My typical FPS is usally around 30+ with 30 being the very least and usually I am higher most of the time.

What are your preferences on tanking vs dps given the possiblity that one or the other might be good that night?

How often do your roommates 'do stuff?' In that there isnt much functional difference between that & just having poor internet?

Being able to copy-paste a guide from ej is a very good step up from the average wow player. But *understanding* it is much better. Give an example of a place where you would do something else. Explain what ej assumptions break. Ie thats not an optimal blood spec for ultra & that's not an optimal frost spec for madness - do you know why?

I have friends in Toronto and they frequently have problems with Rodgers throttling their internet. I would like to know how you feel about this as I'm sure you've experienced it.

If this happens and you have severe internet issues due to the throttling what would your back up plan be to get on and raid with no issues.

I don't mind tanking at all! As of right now I have been tanking pretty much all the time and my current tank set is around the same ilvl as my DPS set. I fully enjoy tanking to so it doesn't bother me at all to have to switch rolls whenever I am needed to do so.

My roommates usually do stuff all the time, however this time in particular was just bad because all 3 of them were doing something at the same time. This usually never brings down my connectivity to WoW and I rarely have any lag problems whatsoever.

For madness and even spine I would switch to a MasterFrost build. From all the sims and testing done MasterFrost is getting a lot better for those kinds of burst situations as well as AoE. I did look into Unholy for a lot of fights due to having AMZ, a better AMS and debatable better AoE. If I had to change something about the frost spec for certain bosses it would be to take away 2 points out of Endless Winter and 1 Point out of Epidemic then add 1 point to butchery for 2/2, 1 point to Runic Power Mastery and 1 point into Icy Reach. As I'm really not interrupting much in DS having those 2 points in Endless Winter is waste currently, however I have needed them for FL and usually am tanking most of the time. Going to get on that right now.

As for Blood, I'm not really sure what you mean as I didn't really look into other builds. The only thing I would change though for certain fights is that I would pick up Crimson Scourge for fights like Madness. In doing so I would put 1 more in Scent of Blood and 2 into Crimson Scourge or instead of putting 1 more into Scent of Blood I would put it into Epidemic to get 3/3. The tank spec I took was originally just made very quickly because I was asked to tank. I've been tanking ever since but haven't looked at anything else because what I have has been absolutely no problem with the current content level we were at. Also I just respec'd back into blood from testing unholy on dummies so that is why my glyphs are currently off.

I'll be using the Queen's Garnets for BiS loot.

Stats as Blood, stat wise Mastery then Dodge/Parry. Those are the priority gem gear and reforge wise.
Stats as Unholy because I have the 2h sword from Madness would be Haste then Mastery then Crit.

I have been tanking a lot and rarely DPSing, when I respec'd I must have used the wrong Active Tree. I had hungering cold for pvp =P. Ill fix that.

As for Blood gear do you want me to log out in it or is there a site that I can set it up on. I know there used to be one like that but I haven't used it in a long time and forget what it was called.
