And yes i always shroom on the start of a fight to apply the earth and moon debuff for the rest of the raid.
curse of the elements is better?

this is very easy to plan out during progression but when raid dps changes during farm, you have to constantly readjust. It took me a couple attempts on yorshaj (and heroic rag progression, even tho i never killed it pre nerf) to plan out my rotation so I would be in the right eclipse when adds come. The problem is raid dps is almost never consistent, even from pull to pull, and find yourself using berserking to rush into solar or casting starfire to hold solar.

How so? Bosses don't have spell resistance and Boomkins don't have to waste a GCD putting the buff up, so unless Warlocks can make use out of Jinx, wouldn't Earth and Moon be better?

If I am being relied on to provide the debuff, I would certainly change to starting in solar. Prefer not detonate unbuffed mushrooms

As a sidenote, you really suck at using the quote tag.
