Soulstalkr - Destro/Demo Lock (Possible X-Fer)

Postby Soul » Tue Oct 05, 2010 6:38 pm

Player information:
- Age & Location: 31 Years Young - Dallas, Tx
- Usual Play Times (Server Time): 5-7 Days a week, Times differ, but I'm known for logging 10 hour days on Weekends.
- Number of Testicles: Is this a trick question? I haven't consulted my physician lately, but last I checked, 2
- Can you attend raids on these days:
-- Monday: Yes
-- Tuesday: Yes
-- Wednesday: Yes
-- Thursday: Yes
-- Friday (optional): Possible
-- Saturday (optional): Possible
-- Sunday: Yes
- Do any others have access to your account? No
- Do you use a blizzard authenticator? If no, why? I sure do.
- How long have you played WoW: Since Vanilla (over 250 days /played)
- Endgame experience (What bosses have you killed): Vanilla: Ony @ 60; TBC: Everything up to KJ in Sunwell (Pre-Nerf) Wrath: All bosses (Except Algalon) prior to ICC and the First 4 ICC bosses killed. Stopped raiding before next wing in ICC was available.

Character Information:
- Name, & Class: Soulstalkr - Warlock
- Race & why did you choose it: Undead; Although not the Premier DPS Class for Locks, I leveled on PVP Servers and being Undead surely helped. Have no issues with changing factions (Orc for Personal and Pet DPS Increase) Hammer Time!!
- Link to Armory:vhttp://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Haomarush&cn=Soulstalkr
- Can you describe the ruckus? No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
- Professions and why did you choose them: Tailoring/Enchanting. During TBC I was the "Guild Tailor" so I made all of our Shadow Resist gear when we we started attempting Mother in BT. Enchanting for the Ring Enchants. Prior to Enchanting I had JC, but there were no additional benefits for JC, so I leveled Enchanting for the Ring Enchants (TBC)
- Spec, Dual spec. How often do you play other specs? Destro PVE/Demo PVP. I've raided Destro since Kara, and leveled 70-80 as a Hybrid Afflic/Demo build.
- Explain your choice of gear for main & offspecs: My gear choice is dependant on Raid/Party setup. I try to maintain a hit cap. So my gear choice depends on the Raid setup, that will allow me the most SP/Haste balance available.
- What Glyphs do you use for each spec and why: Destro: Life Tap, Conflag, Incinerate. These are the best glyphs for Max Personal DPS. Demo Glyphs are purely for PVP at the moment.
- If you are applying as a DPS, what is your normal rotation? Whatever Curse I am assigned (Elements or Doom), Immolate, Conflag, Incinerate Spam. Refreshing Immolate and Curses as needed.
- If you are applying as a healer, what spells do you use & when/why? Heavy Frostweave Bandages!!!
- Highest PvP Rank on this character (vanilla & arena titles): Legionnaire
- Prior guild(s) & your reasons for leaving: Kil'Jaeden - The Flying Hellfish; left the guild when they decided to stop raiding until Sunwell was released. This was 3 months before Sunwell patched in. (mid-TBC) Runetotem - Reforged (PST Late Night Raiding Guild) - Left California for the East coast and wasn't able to raid "Late Night" anymore. Formed a guild on Harmarush server (Ethos) when Wrath broke out, went from Last in server progression to 5th in Server progression. Iraq deployment put an end to End Game Raiding, and instead of being carried, I left to the guild our Main Tank and Co-GM. I'm not looking to lead raids or guilds anymore (Drama Burnt out) So I just want to be able to come home, and kill stuff, without having to worry about who called who a scrub, and who got loot over someone else.

Other Information:
- A Screenshot of your character's UI: Currently, I'm at work and dont have acces to a picture of my UI. I'll post once when I'm able to get online from home.
- WWS/Wowmeter/Worldoflogs reports: I don't have any recent reports, but I'll get 'em.
- Alts & their name/level: Here goes the craziness. I have 7, Count them SEVEN level 80's. Some were leveled for fun, others to help Powerlevel friends/family through Low Level Instances. Armory links as follows:

- How did you find us? Is there anyone you know in Simple Math?: Recruitment Forums. I do not know anyone in the guild
- Why Simple Math? Is there anything else you'd like to tell us?
Honestly, I have never heard of Simple Math until I stumbled across the Recruitment thread today. I do not follow Guild/Server Progression, some say this is bad, I say it’s good, here’s why: Guild/Server progression is great, but being a part of a team that works like a well oiled machine provides more enjoyment. What interested me more in the thread was the Disclaimer at the beginning of the thread, describing the guild as more of a “Community” This is the type of environment I enjoy being in. As soon as I read the top of the thread, I immediately said “Sounds exactly like what I am looking for.” I will always admit there is a possibility there are better players than myself. I am not foolish enough to believe that I am perfect, only that I play the Warlock class better than most I have come across. I have always been the “go-to” guy for help with the class within the guilds I have been in. I have spent countless amounts of Quest-farmed gold, trying numerous Spec/Glyph/Gem combinations until I felt I had it right. I personally do not believe in following a “Standard” or “Cookie Cutter” builds; they give a general basis, but most are situational. I haven’t raided in quite a bit of time, so my gear is definitely sub-par comparatively, and I am in no way looking for handouts. I pull my weight and always go the extra mile to adapt to a situation to find that extra bit of DPS needed. I’m very thick skinned (8 years Active Duty Marine) so criticism only motivates me to exceed even my own expectations, which are very high to begin with. I’ll end with this: If given the opportunity to Raid in your Community, I will stand out as a reliable raider who is always prepared and ready to rock and roll.
- What kind of computer do you use? CPU/Memory/Video Card? Typical FPS during a 25-man raid? Fresh Home Build, Maxed out Solid State Hard Drive, 16GB RAM, 2 1GB SLI enabled Video Card, much more. Max Settings provide 60FPS with everyone in the raid going AOE Ballistic.
- What kind of internet connection do you have? Run an internet speed test against Boston at speedtest.net Link the results below. Again, at work. My latency during peak hours, has never been above 100ms. I average 15-32ms. Gotta love FIOS.
- Finally, we ask that you draw us a picture using MS Paint. This is not optional.
Here is a picture, inside a picture. You tell me what you see!!!
