ever wonder what max fps looks like



This is for computer dorks like me who wanna see a nice peice of computer ass

Built it in March 05
CPU - AMD ClawHammer 55FX
MOBO - Asus A8N-SLI Delux
VC - 2x 256mb Asus GeForce 6800 Ultra (i leave em in SLI all the time)
PS - Thermaltake 720 Watt
HDD - 2x 250 gig and 1x 120 gig

had to watercool cuz the SLI is a hot mofo but its worth it for the graphics
Max fps in Doom3, and HL2
and in FEAR im able to stay above 40fps 100% of the time with highest graphics

so i like to show it off

i need to try the new BF to see what i get whit such a new game, and all u need is a vech to go 200-0 in any BF game >:O

I miss my water setup, damn resevior got a crack in it and leaked everywere. Mine was pimp too, I had a mini fridge cooling the water

Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS 256 GDDR3
Dual DVD Burners

And to top it all off it is a mini-BTX setup, so it has only 2 120mm fans (except the one on the video card) and its so quiet i cannot hear it in my computer chair =)

That's a bitch of a system there. What is the diff between the athlon64 and 64fx? I have never really checked into it much other than knowing thy are usually 2 to 3 times the price. I'm looking at piecing something together after xmas prolly 939 since i can't afford to upgrade to ddr2 quite yet. Suggestions appreciated. Not too worried about 2 or 4 gb max ram. Lookin to get the most bang for my buck under 500ish.
