- Age & Location:
29 / Middle of nowhere Tennessee
- Number of Testicles:
0, unless I can count owning my husband's
- Do you use a blizzard authenticator? If not, why?
Yes of course, it would not be dumb not to
- How long have you played WoW:
I started playing in Vanilla, then began casually raiding in BC and learning the ropes. I started really raiding and knowing what I was doing in Wrath
- Endgame experience (What bosses have you killed):
Majority of my experience is from Heroic Wrath & Cataclysm, I've raided off and on since then and I was 11/11M
- Prior guild(s) & your reasons for leaving:
Through the end Wrath & Cata I raided with Capital Vices on Eredar (there were not quite as good as they are now), and then I moved to Whiskey Brigade to progress on a more casual schedule while still clearing content. WB dissolved when the GM/RL quit for better things in his real life, and the rebuild guild I joined for BFA has been constantly falling apart.

- Main-spec, off-spec, and how often do you play your off-spec?
Shadow - Disc offspec. I have played quite a lot of disc this xpac with how poor shadow was at the beginning. I am almost exclusively disc for M+ keys, and there have been some raid fights we've needed an extra healer for.
- Explain your normal rotation and spell/ability priorities:
This could come out overly complicated with how many different talent abilities and changes made between fights. Simple rotation/priority assuming only DA as extra ability from Talents would be: Open with precast MB, VT, SWP, DA, Bolt, Bender, Bolt, MB (Bolt > MB > MF until you are out of Voidform), then MB > MF until you can go back into Voidform, keep dots up and Bender on CD. Certain fights you take Misery so you don't cast SWP unless you need to while moving to get the free 4 insanity, or you take Dark Void for example on Zek'Voz for the small adds with Shadow Crash. Some fights you add in SWD, for example Fetid, but it also requires you to take ToF. Most of the time I also take SWV instead of FotM since you almost have to have the 2 charges on MB for the voidform rotation to seem smooth. I could on about the state of shadow priests currently, but I feel like I have a very strong hold of it and am able to perform well. I would be very happy to go into more detail if anyone wants.
- Explain your choice of gear for main & offspecs (include stat priorities and breakpoints):
Stat Priority is Int > Haste > Crit > Mastery > Vers, and I constantly check sims to make sure I'm using proper upgrades since obviously +ilvl does not always mean it is an upgrade. Also for Azerite traits currently have the best combination of 2x COI and 1x Archive, I use a comparison spreadsheet by Djriff for initial comprisons before checking my own individual sims for traits and trinkets.
For Disc spec I am not as comfortable knowing what the best options are and rely on warcraftpriests.com and automaticjak.com for my decisions. I also know a lot of other priests who I talk to about any questions I have. I currently run 1x Enduring Luminescence for the increased length of atonement from Radiance, 1x Archive for the RA buff, 1x Contemptuous Homily because it is 385 chest piece and I think the extra int is worth it.
- Where do you do most of your research & testing to improve your character?
Most of the information i get from https://warcraftpriests.com/ , the class discord and other shadow priests I've known for a while to compare information we've discovered. I think talking through conflicting thoughts and sims help us all understand our class better.
- Why should we accept you over anyone else of your class/spec?
Kat is the first character I made way back in Vanilla days, and has been my main the entire time. I have tons of experience on the class and know the spec inside and out. I am also extremely good at fight mechanics. You can fix dps, but you can't fix people knowing how to handle raid mechanics and personal accountability to make the correct decisions in progression fights. I am aware enough to make adjustments during a fight if needed. For example, if someone runs a blood or deceit to the wrong place, I won't blame them for my death if I didn't move away from them. No one is perfect, and I will make mistakes, but i learn from them and don't make the same mistakes multiple times.
