- Race & why you chose it: Orc, Bonus Spell Power and 1% Pet damage also 20% stun reduction
- Professions and why you choose them: Enchanting and Alchemy, so I can make my own enchants/pots. Also a good money maker when I or a guildy doesn't need anything.
- Spec, Dual spec. How often do you play other specs? Destro or Demo, equally good at both and both are around the same artifact lvl. I play the other 2 specs as often as required or I think I am of more help by playing one of the other spec.
- Explain your choice of gear for main & offspecs (include stat priorities and breakpoints): My gear comes from what my stat weights imply to be the best, however sometimes I go against stat weights because I think something is better. Right now I am attempting to reach 120% mastery while at around 20% crit and 20% haste because those are the optimal numbers for affliction warlock at the moment.
- Explain your normal rotation and spell/ability priorities:
Single Target:
Agony (takes the longest to ramp up), Corruption (2nd highest dmging dot), Siphon Life (lowest dmging dot), Soul Effigy(Need to get agony ramping up asap on that), DoT Soul Effigy in same order as above. Unstable Affliction if at 3+ Soul Shards (Reason being to stay around 3 is so that you have some burst if needed) If my legendary procs and I get a soul shard back I cast another UA immediately if I keeps me at 3. Then start using drain life and reDoT as needed. Use Reap Souls when I get to 10 or more souls. Pot and racial on bloodlust and bust all the soul shards on UA's to maximize damage.
Two Target:
Same As above just more reDoTing.
Cleave:
Seed of Corruption and apply/refresh dots and use Seed of Corruption when not refreshing dots.

Very poor leadership, a lot of guild drama, lack of people for mythic progression.

Logs are not 100% accurate to what I can currently do, Received a new legendary and have just now figured it out. 320k+ single target now on nearly all fights.
- Why Simple Math? How did you find us? Is there anyone you know in Simple Math?

Knowing that Destro and Demo were played on most bosses for progression, why do you choose to play affliction? Are you comfortable in switching between specs that would best benefit the raid or your dps on a fight?

I chose to play affliction due to the dramatic difference in mobility. On fights when you have to move a lot demo and destro dps tends to suffer. I am currently in the process of getting my demonology artifact weapon up to around 30 and also getting more gear for demo. I am comfortable switching between specs for fights or possibly just changing main specs all together if the guild I choose to join truly believes that a demo or destro warlock is more beneficial to their raid.

For pure movement sake Elerethe Renferal. For a pure nature of how the specs work, Dragons of the Nightmare and Odyn because of how much there is to dot, constant adds which maximize the effectiveness of your artifact weapon. I also believe Helya is a very strong fight for affliction because of how much movement there is and how many things there are to kill which as previously said feeds right into your artifact weapon. For the mass majority of fights demo and destro are stronger, but affliction has its moments that outshine the other two.
