1. Because due to my guild make up i was asked to spec into Aboms might, But that can be easily changed.

2. Because i gear for mastery aka deathstrikes, the less i have to put my diseases up the better for my deathstrike cooldowns.

You don't need to put up diseases any more often than your Outbreak is up

DS doesn't scale with diseases, only HS does. Even then like Visions said, you should only be putting them up with Outbreak. Beyond that the only disease you need to put up otherwise is Icy Touch for the attack speed debuff and that's only if there isn't another dk/equivalent class to put it up for you.
