Using IPv4 to access IPv6 addresses help Grouch!

Postby Freeproduct » Sun Mar 25, 2012 2:12 am

Hey grouch can you walk me through some steps to configure my settings using free wifi IPv4 to access IPv6 addresses. I'm in some foreign country for a few days. slowly making my way back to the states. Using an airforce facility for free wifi. they only have IPv4 enabled. I'm a noob when it comes to networking. Just trying to play some wow. i'm sure there is a guide or some program that will auto config my stuff but i thought i'd ask here first.

Thanks grouch,

you have both v4 and v6 addresses which means if you try to access a product via a v4 address it'll prefer v4.

what happens when you try to connect to wow? just times out?
you would not feel sadness
if you never tasted joy
