Gillhawk Application

Postby Gillhawk » Tue Nov 25, 2014 2:44 am

Player information:
- Age & Location: 30 Tampa, FL
- Number of Testicles: 2
- Do you use a blizzard authenticator? If not, why? Yes
- How long have you played WoW: 10 years (O-M-G!)
- Endgame experience (What bosses have you killed): I have completed all the heroic dungeons and my current guild doesn't have enough good people to get a CM group together. Cleared MC but that doesn't mean anything.

Character Information:
- Name, & Class: Gillhawk, priest. I also play my Warrior Gillblock (Prot and Fury/Arms)
- Link to Battle.net Armory: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/s ... awk/simple
- Race & why you chose it: Undead, I was goblin last xpac for the increase in haste but now that every class seems to be about the same performance wise i went with my favorite casting style. I don't have issues changing if needed.
- Professions and why you choose them: Enchanting and Tailoring, bags and enchants, but tooks like craftables will be useful again.
- Spec, Dual spec. How often do you play other specs? Played holy until Warth, than played shadow basically until warlords. Been playing disc a lot for quick queues and I like healing in Warlords. I can play whatever spec is needed.
- Explain your choice of gear for main & offspecs (include stat priorities and breakpoints):
Disc: Int, cc, mastary, haste, Multi, Versa
Shadow: http://www.icy-veins.com/wow/shadow-pri ... s-priority one of these depending on the fight
I am also a regular lurker on the How to priest forums.

- Explain your normal rotation and spell/ability priorities: As disc I find myself using Clarity of Will a lot to keep the tank fully bubbled! (it stacks to about 200k, pretty nice buffer) Not much of heal rotation right now. Just Penance for big heal, flash heal (almost never) for quick, heal for sustained (I use Clarity of Will more often in its place), PoH and PoM for AoE heals, and level 90 talent as need. Lets not forget about PWS and PS for emergencies.
Honestly its a ton of typing to go through ALL the shadow rotations right now there are literally 3. If you want to talk about it more in mumble I would be happy to.
- Prior guild(s) & your reasons for leaving: Probably the most notable was Legendary Incompetence on Scilla during Warth. We got a lot of realm first during the beginning of the xpac and I even got The undying achievement. However I sold that account years ago!

Other Information:
- A Screenshot of your character's UI: This is a little old, but gives the basic idea.

- Logs from warcraftlogs or worldoflogs: I am sorry but I don't have any recent ones.
- Why Simple Math? How did you find us? Is there anyone you know in Simple Math? I am finally at a point again in my life that I can raid full time. After the server merges i am excited about getting into a guild again where everyone is as skilled as i am.
- What kind of computer do you use? CPU/Memory/Video Card? Typical FPS during a 25-man raid? 60+ FPS during raids or I upgrade. Intel I5-3570k, 16 gig ram, wow is on my SSD, and currently running a 570 video card, getting a 970 once I find one for a good holiday price.
- Run an internet speed test against New York at speedtest.net and pingtest.net. Link the results below.

- Finally, we ask that you draw us a picture using MS Paint (Windows) or Paintbrush (OSX). Link it below.

Thank you for applying. We are going to pass on your app.
Just my opinion, not necessarily that of this guild or its officers.

The remedy was my legendary wizard dick.
